Turkish Airlines has increased the frequency of its flights to the Maldives, according to Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL).
It currently operates 11 flights per week to the Maldives from Istanbul Airport, up from seven flights per week previously.
The national carrier of Turkey has increased its winter schedule by adding an additional flight to the Maldives on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
According to the tourism ministry, Turkish Airlines transports the seventh-most passengers to the Maldives. It has flown 56,712 passengers to the Maldives so far this month.
The Maldives is now in the midst of its peak tourism season, which has resulted in an increase in the number of flights to the nation.
