Liverpool played a much better second leg, creating several clear-cut chances against a solid Real Madrid defense.
Mohamed Salah and Georginio Wijnaldum missed two glorious chances in the first half while James Milner’s long-range effort was saved by Real Madrid Goalkeeper Courtois.
Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema hit the post in the first half after it was deflected off defender’s foot.
With the 3-1 victory from first leg, Real Madrid will face Chelsea in the semi-final of Champions League.
