Urbanco has requested the removal of illegal outdoor seating from pavements in the area. The company claims to have received complaints that food establishments are violating permits and conducting business outside of designated areas.
Upon investigation, Urbanco discovered that 183 tables and chairs have been illegally placed on pavements across 34 roads in Hulhumale’. As a result, Urbanco has called on these businesses to remove their furniture from the pavements.
