US-Bangla Airlines, Bangladesh’s largest private airline, will commence direct flights to the Maldives in late 2021.
US-Bangla Airlines has stated that Dhaka-Male’ flights would commence in the third week of November.
According to a press statement from US-Bangla Airlines, the carrier would operate flights on the route four days a week.
US-Bangla Airlines stated that they chose to start flights to the Maldives in order to accommodate Bangladeshi tourists who want to visit the island destination, as well as to meet the long-standing aspirations of Bangladeshis working in the Maldives.
US-Bangla was founded in 2014 and is one of Bangladesh’s premium airlines. Aside from the Maldives, the airline is planning to launch services to Saudi Arabia and Sri Lanka.
