Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has stated the construction of Vinares flats in Hulhumale’ Phase II is expected to be completed by July this year.
Managing Director of HDC Suhail Ahmed revealed finishing works of the Vinares flats are currently in progress. He said the flats are expected to be completed by July, after which the flats will be handed over to recipients.
Recipients of flats under failed housing schemes conducted in the past have been allowed to seek flats under the Vinares projects.
The Vinares housing project involves the construction of 1,344 housing units, all of which are 3-room apartments. The project, which aims to resolve some of the housing difficulties faced in the Greater Male’ Region, underwent several delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
