Indian airline Vistara today has started non-stop flights between Mumbai and Male’.
The airline will fly three times per week to Male’ under the travel bubble agreement between Maldives and India.
Vistara will use its Airbus A320neo aircraft for flights between Mumbai and Male’. Vistara is the only airline with flights between India and Maldives to offer premium economy class, in addition to economy class and business class.
Maldives travel bubble agreement with India, first of its kind in South Asia, was announced last August and since then India has become the country with most tourist arrivals in Maldives.
